More of the same. It rained all night with a light North wind and low clouds most of the day. It was very chilly. We saw a fair amount of birds flying over the field we were hunting. Most would give us one look and never break down below the 70 yard mark. Not sure what the problem was, but it just seemed like the geese were highly educated. We called it quits a little early and ended the day with 13 birds. They are forecasting another cold front so I’m predicting that when the weather breaks, the geese are going to head North with a vengeance. We praying for southerly winds.
