The first two weeks of the season have been very good. On opening day we killed a six man limit and for the most part we have been limiting out on the majority of the hunts. The bag has consisted of roughly 50% green-wing teal along with widgeon,gadwall and a few shovlers. So far we have killed very few mallards. But..I expect that to change shortly. It’s that time of year when the mallards start moving down. Hopefully it drys up some so the farmers can get in the fields and pick the corn. I still have some weekday opening during Oct. We are just about a week or two away from the peak migration!

Good news and bad news! The good news is that my scouting run was very successful. Looks like it is going to be another great year. The bad news is that it does not appear the "Live Internet" duck hunt will be taking place. It is out of my hands. I did everything that I was supposed to do. Sorry about this. No one is more disappointed than I am. Live and learn I guess.
